Is {Sarkhan the Mad} a good card? Why or why not? (Think both about it in terms of both pre and post this imminent wave of new Dragon related spells...)

Hes awesome and with superfriend support (new Ajani, {Doubling Season}) he is broken.

With all the fire breathing dragons and with {Crucible of Fire} out again soon, I'd say he's good. I like him because he's a unique planes walker who doesn't give himself loyalty counters. For the mana cost of five you get a 5/5 flyer and damage dealt(over a few turns).

In a Dragon EDH deck he's great!! But in something like Modern or Std. I'd say he's not good in a dragon build his 0 is 5 mana draw a card that will probably be a dragon which means his loyalty will be at like 2 lol and his other abilities are good but again it HAS to be the right build!
