Anti-hunting activists up in arms...

Apparently anti hunting activists are up in arms over an old picture of director Stephen Speilburg posing in front if a model of a dead triceratops. People think that this is real. People actually think that Speilburg hunts extinct animals for sport. These people vote. I have lost all faith in humanity.

Its also an idiotic comment. I want gun control, but A) gun control isnt the sane thing as takig guns away conpletely and B) most people who support gun control realize the importance of hunting for conservation and dont want to take away hunting rifles, rather handguns and automatic/semiautomatic rifles

and in that context "gun control" meant no guns at all.  those idiots.  and about the hunting, i can provide you a link to a discussion where people refused hard evidence of how hunting helped conservation.

I can certainly provide evidence where anti-control people were petty and refused to provide evidence. That doesn't mean everybody's like that.

Also, i wasn't trying to turn it into a discussion about guns.  It feels like other people are headed in that direction, and i just followed their lead.

I mean you did bring up gun control first, albeit to a minor extent. Though the democrat comment was forced upon you and I don't think that was very fair.

This quote was from the person who originally spread the picture around. It was meant to be satirical...

and I realize this. What confounds me is the number of people who commented on that photo with the common sense level of a small potato.

Also: this was meant to be a conversation about lack of common sense, not gun control. It never ceases to amuse...

I'm sorry but as a felon for a non violent victimless crime, it makes no sense why I shouldn't be able to have a gun to protect myself and my family.

I understand a violent crime, but if I'm convicted of a crime that essentially isn't a crime according to ultimate law (possession of cannabis for inquiring minds) why should it be so penalized?
