I'd really consider dropping one scavenging ooze and Olivia for two more abrupt decays

But that's me

DeathlyFoiend

Abrupt decay is a pretty shitty card.

Mattao19

I should probably ask what your meta is like first lol mine is mostly zoo twin and pod all of which Decay is great.

Why do you say it's shitty? It seems like an unreal card can't be countered you stop their combo/kill their tarmo goyf

The guy who came 2nd at GP Minneapolis ran 3 MB idk I like it better than Olivia and a 3rd scooze

Against Pod, Abrupt Decay is a card that is sided out. It is not good against Pod. And the cards tha would counter it really don't run anything less than 3. It is only really good against Twin because they can't counter and Smother would be great against Zoo.

It just catches things that you don't want to waste a pulse on. It is a pretty weak card since the card only kills creatures. It does kill bitternblossom, but this already has a great matchup against Faeries.

Just a suggestion :) I still don't understand Olivia though

Olivia is great against grindy decks that this deck isn't as great against. It is amazing against pod alone and can work well against creature combo decks.

It is a catch all for weird decks.

Spencer Addington

Didn't most jund decks switch Olivia for thrun?

Not really. Olivia was more for sideboard but control isn't as big right now, so Thrun made its way to the sideboard instead.

Mattao19

I just can't help but think that there are better options than Olivia she seems so meh to me

Spencer Addington

She's surprisingly strong for long games. I'm sure you could find a video of a jund list that runs Olivia and see the game winning potential.

Pretty much. You have to try it.

Jund players side it out against Pod, Scapeshift, UWR Control. It is only really good against Affinity and Twin, which are either 50/50 matchups or better.

Abrupt Decay is a good card, but it is shitty in the meta and people shouldn't run more than 3 unless they are playing BG Rock.

Agree, I run 3 in my BG rock deck. Interesting to see only 1 main Anger but it makes sense to me since you're swapping Thrun for Olivia. Looks like a pretty solid list :) I'm curious why Jund over BG Rock
