Well, I'd say first off that given the casting cost distribution of your creatures (called the "mana curve"), I would recommend adding at least 1~2 more lands.  For a deck to have less than 20 lands it needs to be very aggressive, lots of 1-2 cost dudes, haste, high power, those sorts.  Also, considering that you only have 4 artifacts in the whole deck, I'm not sure how useful the {Buried Ruin} are going to be.  Since you're only running two of them, and you're mono colored, it's not a big deal.

Otherwise, it doesn't look too bad.  Good luck!

Thanks.  I had gotten a few cards from some people trying to help me out since my library isn't very large yet.  I was going to have fun entering a standard tournament, but I didn't want to go yet if this deck was pretty horrible.  I don't expect to win by any means, but I got to start somewhere.

You should look at what other people are posting here.  White weenie (or WW) is all the rage right now.  ;)

Yea I have been.  Some seem solid.  I just lack some of the stronger cards, and the ones my friends have refuse to trade me without me getting ripped off.  I'll probably need to get a few lucky pulls on some of these.

Maybe you should look at building a Pauper deck.  Here's the link to Building on a Budget, a great way to get started without a huge investment:

You don't always need money to build a solid deck.  I've beaten up guys in my group with lots of $0.25 cards.  In fact, it's usually more fun.  ;)

Thanks I'll check that out.
