Hitting a dryad arbor with wasteland? Yes. Dryad arbor is a nonbasic land.

I'm going to disagree with you. Dryad arbor is a forest (basic land) and is therefor unaffected by the second ability.

I'll look for some rulings myself, but I would appreciate it if someone could link it if they find it first.

Nope. It does work. Forest is a basic land type, but being a forest does not automatically make it basic. For example, you can't search up a {Breeding Pool} with an {Evolving Wilds}.

205.4c Any land with the supertype "basic" is a basic land. Any land that doesn't have this supertype is a nonbasic land, even if it has a basic land type.
     Cards printed in sets prior to the Eighth Edition core set didn't use the word "basic" to indicate a basic land. Cards from those sets with the following names are basic lands and have received errata in the Oracle card reference accordingly: Forest, Island, Mountain, Plains, Swamp, Snow-Covered Forest, Snow-Covered Island, Snow-Covered Mountain, Snow-Covered Plains, and Snow-Covered Swamp.

Wasteland would be much, much worse if that were the case.  Also, then you could have a land-base composed entire of Dryad Arbors, which would be awkward.

Y'all forget that dryad arbor sucks ass! Lol any board wipe it dies. It basically enters tapped. Like it's a very meh card.

However, it gives you a T1 {Green Sun's Zenith} target (Turn 1 Ramp), and makes Gaea's Cradle produce more mana.  Also, super fringe use, it lets Fetch lands find a blocker.

Good card is good.

Should be a new topic, but in this case your {Dryad Arbor} will be a 1/1 green mountain creature, that taps to add red to your mana pool.
This is because {Blood Moon} doesn't change anything into a basic land. It will still be a creature.
