Not illegal jut bad in Modern. Read {Mind Funeral} then read {Mind Grind} and tell me which is better.

I have read them both, and I actually prefer mind grind. I play multiplayer more than anything, so the mass mill on multiple opponents works much better for me.

We are talking modern:) one on one games. So funeral costs three less mana then mind grind would:) mind grind is only good in edh, modern not at all, casual, haha

I'm not sold on even Funeral dude, it's such a gamble every single time.

It is by far the worst card in a mill deck BUT it has potential to be awesome

19-20 land decks are not that uncommon, and given the prevalence of Fetchlands, you can usually count on it netting a decent number of cards.

After running the card for over a year, I found that more often than not it was an expensive {Mind Sculpt}.

Apologies people, I didn't know that modern is usually 1v1. Thought it had it's multiplayer too but with the 1v1 part, funeral does make more sense.
