if i have  {King Macar, the Gold-Cursed} can i first off do i get the gold token or does the opponent?

if i have marcar equipped with {Illusionist's Bracers}
can i choose to exile the token but sac it in response and get a new token to get extra mana

1st question: Yes, you get the gold token.

2nd: You can't exile the token to get another one. It's not a creature.

if it was a creature would it work?

No, because when you sac the creature in response to the Inspired trigger, the trigger no longer has a valid target and will fizzle.

Sardok

{King Macar, the Gold Cursed} equipped with {Illusionist's Bracers} does absolutely nothing because he has no activated abilities, only a triggered one.

Thus the second question is moot.

Midas ability on the stack and you copy it with the resonator. Copy resolves and you choose a target for your new copy. You can't choose the gold token (creature or not) because it doesn't exist as a permanent on the battllefield yet.
Resonator copy of Midas resolves and you choose if you want to exile the targeted creature and gain the gold artifact.
Original copy of Midas resolves and you choose if you want to exile the targeted creature for a gold artifact.

Note that you can legally choose the same target for both abilities, but if the copy resolves exiling the creature, the original will be countered because it no longer has any legal targets and you won't get a second gold artifact.
