I have an irrational irritation with people who create their own cards and word them wrong. For example:

{U}{U},{T}: Target creature is returned to its owner's hand.
{R}{R},{T}: Deal 2 damage to target creature or player.

should be

Rubbadub Nubblers          {2}{U}{R}


{U}{U},{T}: Return target creature to its owner's hand.
{R}{R},{T}: Rubbadub Nubblers deals 2 damage to target creature or player.

Like just read {Unsummon} or {Shock}.

I don't know if it has already been said, but my least favorite thing is getting a solid 30-45 minutes into a game of 4+ player commander, and then somebody gets a lucky draw and infinite combo's/some other stupid situation where they can simply go... "I win." and then that's the end of the game. My playgroup combats this by continuing the game regardless, but there are always that group of people who claim "a win is a win" regardless of how much a .flavor text. that person is. I don't care if I win or lose, I just want to play an intense, fun game. I don't wanna have to run an edh full of counterspells and all of the other things that make games aggravating. You can only hear "I'll path it" so many times before you just wanna flip a table or two. Homebrew janky cranky decks are -ALWAYS- more fun than highly professional netdecks. :-/ that is what grinds my gears.

Some people prefer white bodered lands
Some prefer black bordered
And some like both

As long as the card is legal
