My current brew. It needs work, undoubtably. I want to put in {Iroas, God of Victory} as he synergizes well with {Kaalia}, and also {Athreos} to take a slower route. I also need to get an {Avacyn} and an {Iona}. Looking for tips on what to take out, and also critiques of my land base, which, while sometimes allows me to get explosive starts with Kaalia, is not quite where I want it to be

I 100% agree with you. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a while, which is frustrating considering I had a foiled one from an intro deck when I was younger...

Hey man, love the decklist and the name! It looks very well thought-out. Kaalia is a simple build in nature: get big guys out and win... but many make the mistake of puting nothing but big guys in! Your list has good ramp (nice dark ritual addition!), draw (necropotence is awesome), and utility (lightning helix and other utility cards like that are way underused in EDH. But very valuable.), along with the appropiate angels and the like. +1

Do you have any suggestions? there are a few more angels and demons to get, namely a {Rakdos the Defiler}, but I'm really liking how {Rakdos, Lord of Riots} plays. if I get him out with Kaalia and then my opponents remove Kaalia, he does a good job of swinging and then helping me get fatties out, as mana is always an issue with such a high CMC deck 😊

Considered  {Tariel, Reckoner of Souls}? Great big flying body with a cutesie ability. Plus that artwork tho. And what is mana cost to a kaalia deck?

Aurelia seems better, being an angel to cheat in and stuff.

Also, maybe consider another board wipe or 2 for when the whole table turns against you for playing Kaalia.
