First Magic Tournament

Got 3rd out of 7 at my first Magic tournament.
Was using a pretty basic Izzet {Guttersnipe} {Cancel} {Hidden Strings} deck.
Got smashed by a Robot King deck who got 2nd.
1st place was a kid using a Mono Green unbeatable deck that literally hit anyone he played against for 60~900 damage turn 2 with {Nykthos shrine to Nyx} + {Craterhoof Behemoth} + some bio card that lets him draw his deck, play like 40% of it, cycle it back in, repeat as many times as needed to deal X amount of damage.

The thing that was frustrating, it wasn't even his own deck, when me and my cousin got to the store, some judge who like helped make the game Mage Wars and knows some of the Artists of Magic, built the deck for the kid and described how to play it for the half hour before the tournament started.

It really was total BS

But hey, I got 1W-2L first round vs my cousins exalted deck
Got a free win 2nd round (no one to pair me with)
And went 2W-1L 3rd Round against a Rakdos discard/ {Nyxthalid} (cant remember the name) deck.
Won 15$ store credit for getting third. Then went home and played a few G~Rank hours of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Altogether, weekend was great.

Except for you know...the whole...unbeatable kid who didn't even use his own cards thing.
