Based on what logic? Pretty much outside of two feet id rather have a gun, and within 24 feet well.. Isnt that a perfect range to just shoot someone? Like thats too good to be true

maybe a drunk man with a gun versus a ninja with a very large knife, but in any other case i also find this to be highly illogical.

If someone is charging at you with a knife within 24 feet they will be plunging it into your chest within the time it takes for you to perceive the threat, aim, and fire your gun. They tested it on Mythbusters
