But you do get to keep your own stuff on the table, which imo is better than the lifegain :)

I'd personally prefer a board reset. I play a commander deck behind {Grand Arbiter Augistin IV} all about such things. It's also just general control

1) cast {balance} when its the only card in hand.
2) in response, sac all lands to zuran orb

You now have a ton of life and a pseudo-creature.
It's even better if you cast balance when your opponent has no hand... can't be countered then lol

With cyclonic they get to keep their lands, and that is no fun
