Local meta dependent, I would consider {witchbane orb} also if the run a lot of curses or burn. I hate that card because it all but completely shuts down my main deck {burn}.

Figured negate is the better way to go since my golem will hopefully hold against creatures but thats just me.

As seen with other Precursor decks: {Apostle's Blessing} and {Ranger's Guile} are excellent answers and threats to make your team unblockable against one color.

Also consider cantrips: {Tel-Jilad Defiance}, {Twisted Image}, {Argent Mutation} to draw a card for each creature you control.  {Hunter's Insight} is absurd!

Rangers guile seems useful i think ill add it directly... And twisted image is a great thing to remember if this deck turns out too slow!

Splicers accompanied by the precursor effect!

That's a neat little trick. But you possibly a double edged sword. A single kill spell could be a board wipe for your golems.
