Woo hoo, birthday in a week, do not know whether to be happy or not.. Have no money, quit my job, barely any friends, my town sucks.. Ugh. I wish I had something to do for it.
Any ideas or input..

Don't quit your job until you have another lined up.

Oh trust me, my job sucked. I got hours about as if I was not working.. Did not make enough to deal with the crap

On Wednesday I had to bury one of my cats after he was put down, so right now my cats just remind me of it:(

I got yelled at, treated like crap, I am an emotional person and honestly needed to not be there or I was going to have a break down from the poor treatment

Then that's abuse and should be reported to the police.

Lol that's funny tab.

I told corporate about the treatment and nothing changed over months

It was for no reason and so many others brought it up to

Right now it is an employers market. They tend to get away with more stuff because people are more willing to deal with the bs to make a living. Unless you have some serious concrete evidence it's not worth the headache and hassle. You can always try the department of labor but it's really not worth it. I would say you did the right thing to get out of there. Hopefully you gave your two week notice so you can use them on a resume.

Back in the day, you could get hired being a Felon who smokes pot.

Now they drug everyone*** and do mad background checks.

Definitely the employers have the upper hand currently, and sadly many are against increasing the minimum wage.

Technically I should have gotten a drug test, but I didn't and my boss didn't care.
If you are upset with the minimum wage, then get yourself an education.  Those minimum wage jobs, the people are getting paid what they deserve for the work they are doings.
Or you could just become your own employer and take it into your own hands.

Wow. I'm glad awesome town works so well. Good luck in the real world.

First off you are saying you got by without having to follow the rules.
If getting an education would guarantee you a job (not even gonna compare the minimum wage) all collages would advertise 100% job location after graduation. Look at the top schools and search how many find jobs after. It is a high percentage but not 100%.
Look at most people who open a business fail within three years.

This is just a start. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of hard work required to get a head in life(a little luck and money helps).
