I got those.  My only question with the {fires pout} is it worth the extra {1}?  All the times I've needed to double clams is to kill something with 4 toughness.  {delver of secrets} is 2, snappy is 2, goyf will be 1, bob is 2, etc.

Right now I don't have any dig problems, so do I really need the spheres?

If you're using Chromatic to just dig, you're playing the deck wrong. And Firespout is better than wasting 2 clasms since it kills Merfolk, Zoo, Pod, Faeries, and parts of Living End. But you also have more resources to rely on that don't cause you to over extend. And it is much easier to use with the Spheres since your mana base is more meant to support tron lands with everything else coming later.

Is there a card like pyro or fire but instant speed?

Yes, but it costs 1RR and that is too much mana for you to handle properly. It is a dead card a lot of the time.
