I looked at some reviews and it sounds like KMC sleeves can be a little warped. Has anyone found that to be a problem?

Dragon shield are super bent btw. They are awesome though.

Edit: I meant warped, not bent.

I have two different kinds of KMC sleeves. One is a Mat Dark Blue and those are kind of warped, but not bad. The other is KMC Super and I absolutely love them. I have never had one get split or ripped, although the back do get scratched up commonly. Altogether, really great brand, I recommend Super if you buy (I think they are all around the same price).

Ah. Ok. Good advice, thanks. Probably going to see which is cheaper so I don't have to add in more besides my $5 credit.
KMCs are usually around $10, but they're so worth the money.
Huh. The ones I found were $6.50.

Am I missing something here?
No, although I recommend the Matte, not the Supers.
Interesting. 1 vote for matte, one vote for super.

I just bought dragon shields and I love them. My only complaint is that if my card isn't all the way at the bottom of the sleeve, the bottom of the edge starts to bend a bit. Just whatever you do, don't by ultra pro. Those sleeves were terrible for me.

To defend a Ultra Pro (which I know are poor) I have Pink sleeves by ultra that are super easy to shuffle and really good. For some reason their pink ones work best haha

Are they just plain pink? Mine had the pictures of the guild leaders on them and they quickly started to peel.

I think the older ultra pro ones (which I have) are better.

I'm leaning towards dragon shields as I can use them easily for commander later. However I've heard the edges can be uneven on Dragon Shields making them illegal for competitive tournaments. Is this true?

Just plain pink :)

I'll also defend the ultra pros. I've been sold on the black matte ones. That's all I buy now. If one dies its no effort to replace as I probably have over 1000 of them now on all my different decks and such.
I did change a few colours for some of my commander decks tho.

The only problem I have with them is with the way I shuffle sometimes they get a little kink in the bottom corners. Nothing major tho.

Stay away from the glossy ones with the pics on the back. I've had nothing but issues with those. They either peel or are mongrels to shuffle as they stick together a lot.

huh. that's all i use; the old glossy m13 bolas horns ones. while they do stick together a bit, they rarely break and they're great. they just get visibly scratched easily, which I why I want some dragon shields or something.

Dragon Shield used to have a lot of miscuts, but they have stepped up their game quite a bit recently.

Awesome, good to know. Guess those reviews were old. Dragon Shields, it is I guess.

MacheteMable

I love dragon shields. They rarely break and give a lot of protection. KMCs are good too. I think that if you're going with either one I'd pick on color preference I like KMC supers and any Dragon Shields. The rough dragon shield edges seem to go away after shuffling a lot for the most part.

If you ever want to double sleeve a deck. (I double sleeve my modern decks due to the value of the cards) then I would suggest KMC perfect fits with dragon shields.
