{Chandra, Pyromaster} puts in some good work as well

{Liliana of the Veil} is ridiculous

I play standard so there's really only two options for me

And this is one of the reasons I got out of standard so fast.. Too expensive and not cards in rotation I want to use..
Yeah, only pyromancer and dark realms.. Hopefully next set.. But I think wotc is doing gods right now..

He decreases your hand quality and is easily killed: what's not to love?

He has so much synergy in a deck about discrading cards. I'll go bump my Tibalt Deck in Modern for you

I've seen builds that use red and reanimate and use that one ability that says if you would discard this card, pay this better casting cost to play it. If he simply had "discard a card, and you get something, like deal damage to something", he could be good in Reanimator, but alas

I would love to see a straight-up Rakdos ({R}{B}) Planeswalker. Some sort of cruel, villainous face-shredding maniac. Maybe Sarkhan turned cruel after breaking his enslavement from Bolas in return to Alara? (Pipe dream)

In the meantime, {Chandra, Pyromaster} is pretty solid for red, and pretty much any printing of Liliana for black is great.
