I actually wasn't. But yes I will post results and my decklist :)

Steerpike

The nutrition of competition is real!!

Eat something with sugar (like an apple) beforehand and keep drinking water as the day goes on!

Coffee Vampire

Don't be afraid to call a judge if something's wrong. Don't try to fix it yourself if something goes wrong!

LadyGrixis

Oust? I've been warned about staying hydrated and making sure I have nutritional food so I don't crash. I'm never afraid to yell "JUDGE!" Lol

Sparkle Ninja

You got this girl. I believe in you.

Gorzo

Good luck! Make sure you do some practice play testing against mono black devotion - I'm not sure how much Born of the Gods is going to change the deck scene, but you can bet your cutie-patootie you're going to have to play against a good number of mono black devotion. Probably still a decent amount of mono blue and esper control, as well. Make sure you know their decklists and how to CRUSH THEM INTO THE GROUND! I will be cheering you on in spirit :P

Good luck, my groups talking about hitting the boston GP in June, hopefully we can put it together. Good luck, that's all I've got, no valuable advice. Please give us a breakdown when it's said and done. Maybe try a stab at an article outlining things you learned that you can pass on to the next guy going to his first big tourney.

DirtyMustachio

This Saturday ?

You know what someone whose more awesome than I should sticky a thread with big tourny schedules for all of us to follow.

I maybe woulda made that drive had I knowndeded

I don't check the site with tournaments often however I check threads here constantly.

Also your a girl therefore your opponent will either be really nervous,  or underestimate you. Take advantage of both!

You gotttttt thissssssss

LadyGrixis

Ooo, an article sounds fab. Hope I don't get so swept up in what's going on that I forget to document my progress!

I would totes be up for stickying tournaments, I'm just not aware of them all. I think that would have to be a joint effort from people in different regions :)

You may already do this idk, but grab a little spiral bound notebook before you go. Use it to keep score and also keep little notes about the day, about your matches, about everything, the people, the feeling registering, walking in the building. Just the experience, basically a journal. Obviously don't make it stressful cause you want to have fun, but I think it's doable, I'm probably gonna do it myself. I just think it would be fun to here about people's experiences. That's all. Then wrap it up with things you are going to do or bring the next time to make the day better. I'll read it.
