They don't get much love cause people like me hate them.

That being said odds are if you have those two on the board you can close the game in a couple turns. Cruel, but good.

Really, I love the stormtide

I have a wall deck that generates a lot of mana and can usually get stormtide out in four to five turns. Short of a doom blade etc it's typically game over at that point. Great lockdown card

this is quite like the turn1 {forest} {elvish mystic} combo. not actually a combo, just cards doing what they were intended for.

Infinite looting, +1/+1 and etb triggers
Throw it in with the midnight guard combo
Add pirogues and the new milling artifact for a win con

Speaking of mr. {stormtide leviathan}, during a booster draft, I had {jalira, master polymorphist}, sac'ed a 7/7 {chasm skulker}, and pulled stormy out, then played {obelisk of urd} next turn for squids. Kinda fell in love with booster drafts after that.
