And how do we know that didn't happen?

But he chose not to mention anything aside from the fact that he "made them cry". I, for one, don't think that being a little humble sometimes is a bad thing. I also don't chose to play with people who enjoy gloating. Winning is fine and getting excited is great; but there's a better way to express it I feel. That's all :)

I'm not sure if you guys noticed this but further down fire actually asks for a deck list using one of the cards the 7th grader used. So before the judgement is cast, it seems like he actually tried to help. Has no one  ever had a moment of complete dominance where we feel the need to boast? He's young, let him live.

I have made two little boys cry in Super Smash Bros. tournaments on separate occasions.
One of them was around 10 years old
One was autistic

But I dont feel guilty cuz I was either friendly or silent

It's called speculation. Based on what info was given, people made the comments.

What it's are endless.

What if you're terrible at magic? What if I'm bilbo baggins?

I didn't see speculation, I saw assumption. Saying "oh that was so bad of you why weren't you nice and offer any advice?" is an assumption, whereas, "maybe he did offer advice." is a speculation. He didn't actually offer any context clues as to whether or not this happened.

LG,  I agree with you that it's not great to boast about making anyone cry, but I also assume that he didn't intend to make them cry by playing against them, and I believe that makes a difference.

Btw, were you all this humble all the time as adolescents? Just curious.

Well there was no magic when I was a small child. But other games, NOPE.

There may have been times where I wasn't; but boy if my parents caught me acting this way, I would get a switch taken to me. I learned that lesson pretty quick o_o;

You can still be competitive and great without being a dick. That's my point.

Also, this encompasses every player; I'm not just referring to kids here.

They learn it if taught properly.

You do know we live in America?

Lol taught properly.

I have no idea how to take that comment. And yes, I was raised in a household where you, if applicable, are a good person and treat others accordingly.

Honestly this is getting out of hand. The world is a grey minefield full of positive people and negative people. No one would be who they are today without both positive and negative experiences shaping them. Those kids could buck up after the experience, and get better. Without it they would just stagnate. Staying the same, thinking they were fine when they weren't. Don't berate him for this.
If I recall right there was an issue a while back of you dealing with some negative players. Didn't that life experience better you?
Also, just curios to see you back after that whole "leaving the forum forever" thing not too long ago.

And you've just added to the getting out of hand aspect. And I'm not going to please you with a response to a completely OFF TOPIC comment concerning myself. That has nothing to do with this thread.

I've said my part and I'm not playing devil's advocate here.
