Database issues

I have iMTG II on my 5S and it shows database 84. On my iPad 2 on iMTG it shows database 86. According to the forums the latest database is 89. Is there suppose to be a different database between the two apps and why isn't it prompting for a database update?

Also manually clicking update database won't give me database 89.

I'm having the same problem with imtg 1. It isn't updating past database revision 86.
