What do you think of the new tribute mechanic?

It kind of reminds me of {vexing devil} where your opponent gets to choose.  Seems kinda like a 'win more' type thing.  The only time an opponent won't pay tribute is prolly when you're already winning.  I don't know.  What do you think?

If there were Tribute cards I could actually use in my EDH deck, I'd put them in. {Conjurer's Closet} FTW.
