Stories at the VA clinic

So I'm sitting here at my local VA clinic waiting to be seen so I can get an update on my meds, and I'm sitting next to this couple who are about my age, and I'm pretty sure was in the same operation as me overseas.

I overhear them talking about each of their ex's (divorces). The guy is talking about how he slept with all the military women overseas while his ex wife was home watching his kids.
I overhear the lady talking about how she was cheating on her ex husband while he was overseas.

I really really really wanted to stand up and beat the bajesus out of the both of them and kick them out and tell them to die. Unfortunately, my better judgement and self control stopped me from going to jail.

This really bothers me because my ex wife cheated on me while I was overseas, but not just overseas, but also whenever I went to a training mission. She had the nerve to call me one time and tell me she was sleeping with another man, and actually put him on the phone. When I threated to beat the heck out of him when I got back, his brilliant butt said he was going to the MPs and report me and said he would talk to my CO about how I am threatening him.

After I got done laughing I went to sleep to return home the next week. Guess who beat who up.

Sorry for the long story, but I felt I haven't been posting much, and wanted to share a huge pet peeve of mine.

Has anyone cheated on you or someone you know?

Gorzo

I empathize. I've never been married, but I've been cheated on. That betrayal of trust is such an awful experience. I don't talk about my personal life very much, but I'll admit I had never been so hurt as I was then.

I will never understand how or why anyone can cheat on a loved one. Even if the love is gone and you meet someone else, just break it off before you do anything with the new person - it's not that hard. Don't you owe them that?

I need to stop myself here, this is an issue that really bothers me and I could go on a rant, which I really don't want to do. Too many memories I don't want to revisit.

I'm 14 and I've never been married, (shocking right?) but I have sorta felt like I've been cheated on in a way. Well for me it's more like replaced but pretty similar. But I feel for you, so here's some karma to help you

Thank you guys for sharing. I know it can be very hard, but I was going through a tough time there with those kids. I needed to share.

Again, thank you.

Been there. First deployment my ex fiance cheated on me. Then when I got back said she lied and was just scared of commitment. I called bs on that one.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

At my FNM finals one time my opp was about to lose, then I caught him drawing extra cards. Does that count?

Serious note: I'm 13 today, never been in a serious relationship, but I do know a betrayal of trust that size. It was a parental thing.

Cheating is cheating. No excuse for either forms.

I'm sorry for you guys. At least we all have somewhere to go if we need to vent or get advice!

(This wonderful forum if you were wondering where. Haha)

Why the hell is that a common bond for people??  Pathetic.

Mikefrompluto

I'm with Gorzo. If you're gunna cheat, have the decency to break it off. No excuses for cheating.

Waaayyyy before I met my wife, I was dating this girl that was dating other guys behind my back. We agreed to be exclusive and then I found out that she was still dating other guys. I got outta that with the quickness. She was three years younger than me and had daddy issues. She just wanted the attention.

My last girlfriend cheated on me. I'm not sure why she did it. Although to be fair, I was too nervous to go past second base

I have heard once though that men cheat because they want to feel needed. Women cheat because they want to feel loved

LadyGrixis

I was cheated on one time. Just once :) and I don't blame the other girl; she had no idea.

I went to the theater where I knew he was taking her (via a message he sent her on his phone that popped up the night prior when I was cooking him dinner), and I waited. Then I texted him while he was in the theater and said "So what are you doing this afternoon love?" His response: "Just hanging out at the house right now, not feeling well, probably going to just chill out tonight." So then I said "Well you're really not going to feel good when I ask your friend what her name is and introduce her to your soon-to-be ex girlfriend. Enjoy your movie."

I only wish I could have been a fly on the wall in the movie theater so I could have seen his face.....I'm sure it was priceless, that useless POS.
