But then, even assuming you should have had those extra cards in hand (the two, since the third was the premature blue suns zeneth) that same turn you cast quicken and supreme verdict, so by that you drew the blue suns zeneth as the only card in hand.  But the next turn you miracle a temporal mastery (still should have only one card in hand) play a land (where did that come from? You only should have had one card in hand) and blue sun zeneth, which you played using that freshly played land.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

You right now have -3 cards in hand if my count was correct.

Ieatfood7

Well, that would have changed a lot. If your hand had been empty when you quickened the supreme verdict, then the game would be different.

I don't think we can really backtrack, and removing you from the game at any specific point would be weird...for example, if you leave before killing the Cerberus I'll probably lose. If after you kill it I'll probably win (both just guesses). I say that since its first to two wins, stray and I each get credited for a win this game, and we go to the next game. If stray or I win the next game that player wins the round. If you win then we go to a final game, with each of us having one win, winner take all.

Sound appropriate to you two?

Vindog

Ieatfood7

Ok. Next game. Vin. You "lost" so you go first. Stray, let's roll for second. I roll 7.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

Ok, I'll check the first game. If all was correct that first game you get the loss for this game and the next, and can't play, but if it was wrong the first ill give ieatfood the win for that one.

Ieatfood7

Mishra, that was the first game. We are on to game 2 with me and stray credited with one win each.

Vindog

Ill play an  {Scrubland} tap for  {Sol Ring} into
{Mana Vault} into  {Dimir Signet} and end at 4 in hand and 42 life

Ieatfood7

How many cards did you have to muligan through to get three mana rocks in your opening hand?

I muligan four and then keep.

Vindog

None actually I had 2 in hand and drew the third because everyone draws turn one right?

Ieatfood7

Lucky.

And yeah. I hate the rule that first player draws, but that's the rule.

Vindog

If you don't like that your going to hate the sharing artifact part of this deck

xStrayKnightx

I roll a 2. Looks like you're up before me.

Ieatfood7

Draw. Forest. {expidition map}. Pass.

40/6

Huh?

I hate it because it gives the first player a big advantage over the last player and no downside at all. In 1v1 going first is usually best, but has a downside. I don't see why a third player should make the first player get extra advantages.

But again. It is the rule, so as I said in the first post, I'll roll with it.
