Email profile help

So when I made this account for my email I accidentally used yahoo instead if gmail. When I go into account to change it I'll change it and do everything and it will say I changed it but when I go back in the account, it will keep saying yahoo and because if this I can't add a profile image. Please help!

Do you mean the blue profile image with the power on looking thing? To the right of this post? Because that isn't connected to email.

Well I read and doesn't it need to be the same email? For the power button thing I put gmail but for this I put yahoo so doesn't it have to be the same?
