Firefly board game?...

Has anyone played the firefly board game and if so is it simpler to play then what it looks like in the instructions? Because I just bought it and glanced at the instructions on how to play... Wow lots of stuff! I bought it off a recommendation from my manager at my lgs and a few people in my play group.

Yeah I've got it and love it! It is much simpler than what it reads! Granted I played with a dude who knew it well first but i caught on quick!!!

You don't compete against your friend or team up with (until the expansion) you're just playing with, but you can be a jerk by dropping the Reaver ship or the Federation ship on too of them. The only problem is it takes forever to finish.

It takes fooooooorreeevveeeeer to finish the first objective, but the last two fly by!
