I went to open my book (Artemis fowl, the last gaurdian), and it said it cannot open the book, because the requested resource is missing.  I deleted it and re downloaded it, but nothing changed.

For the first time in my life, I am extremely unhappy with apple.

Is the book you downloaded in the .epub format?

Suggestion: get a Droid. I love my LG Spectrum 2. Google holds all of your music, movies, ect. on its website and you can access it from anywhere, it even stores you searches. So when I search something from home I can find it from school. Its really nice. Don't get me wrong, Apple is great; I just prefer Google phones.

I'd suggest pirating a copy of the book and manually putting it on your device. You already paid money for a copy of the book, so it would be fine to do that in my eyes.

I've always been happy with apple for years except for this one occasion.  I hate the layout of all the other devices, apple has more apps, (like imtg) and everyone else's tablets look stupid.
Google is were its at! Apple has more apps, but the Google Play Store is quickly catching up. Lastly, how can you say, "everyone else's tablets look stupid?" I have had an iPad for 5 months now because we use them in AP classes and I hate it. I love my Nexus 7

There's always the paper book lol
hey hey, books are the best books!
That's what I'm saying! I would miss the feel of turning a page way too much to get ebooks

Apple has always been quick to refund a few of my purchases that didn't load properly. Give them a call.

Another issue with Apple is that in their terms and agreements, all products apple made still belongs to them. Even after you bought it. They view it as "Renting" the phone

I think that he said this because a few years ago there was a dispute over whether someone could sell their iPhone and Apple tried stopping some people.
