{Unwinding Clock} would be pretty cool since the cauldron untaps then and you can do that on an opponent's turn.

Edit: You could do it on every turn if you had the mana, since {Gift of Immortality} says return Gift of Immortality at each end step.

oh I was thinking so that I didn't have to mess around with my mana and keep it simple, white/black, I could find a way to discard it and just ressurect it

I was thinking {progenitor mimic} actually to create many newts so I don't have to rely on gift of immortality as my only constant newt source lol and I can have many newts to I can -4/-4 many using them as blockers
