So I found some nice stuff in my LGS's dollar rares boxes the other day...

Two days ago, I went to my locals and decided to peruse their dollar rares boxes. I started off with the white rares. In it, I found an {Angel of Finality}, which I needed for my Angel Tribal EDH deck. I later checked the price and saw that the mid price for it was $2. I then found two Japanese M12 {Sun Titan}s. "You know something's wrong when you find these in a dollar rares box," I jokingly said to a guy who was looking through the boxes too. But then I decided to check the prices, and he was still about $2-3. So I decided to pick one up and gave the other to the other guy. Shortly after, two Ice Age {Swords to Plowshares}, which were at least $2; again, I gave one to the other guy and kept the other. I then found two {Luminarch Ascension}s, and after that, {Radiant, Archangel}. Finding a bunch of $2-3 cards is nice, but then I checked the green box. I found an {Avenger of Zendikar} from CMDR2013, which I gave to the other guy, but then I hit gold: an Urza's Saga {Greater Good}! I needed the card, it was tough to find, and it was worth a good amount—$5, at the lowest. I snatched it up as soon as I saw it.

So, that's my story of how I got a bunch of good cards for a dollar apiece.

Wow, all the rares I'm my lgs box don't exist. All we have is a binder of rares that all suck.

It's a lot like that at my LGS... ;( although we do have large 550 card boxes that have mostly commons and uncommons, tho last time I pulled 2 rares from it. Also, there are some pretty good commons/uncommons in it😄
