I personally don't think he'll repeat. But that's just my speculation. Would suck since i've bought so many Mind Sieze that it's ridiculous.

Unlike {Scavenging Ooze}, {True-Name Nemesis} is only designed for 1 format - Commander. His far too overpowered for any other format, and his Protection from Player ability doesn't make sense in other formats either. He's not OP in Commander, where 2 other players can deal with it.

yep. Which is why I know it's so overpowered. It's replaced {Geist of Saint Traft} wholesale in the Legacy community.

Yeah except they balanced it out when they also printed {Toxic Deluge}. Deluge kills nemesis every time.

There are a million ways to kill him. You can {Black Sun's Zenith} for 1, cycle {Decree of Pain} which is uncounterable. True-Name is pushed and turbo charged. I added 2 to my Merfolk deck, they're insane.

Also, I'm not aware of any other Protection from Player cards.

Nemesis is also a beautiful sword carrier for Stoneblade.

I don't think True-name will be printed in a standard-legal set, he'd be pretty nuts in modern, as he currently is in legacy.

Of the new cards, I can only see Toxic Deluge getting printed. Maybe. That card is still crazy powerful.
