Timely windfall

So I get a text from wife today saying we had gotten some mail from my college. I get home, open it up, and it's a check for $3400! This could not have come at a better time! Now we can have a decent Thanksgiving dinner, when before we weren't. I can pay off one of the credit cards, get her a nice dress for my command Christmas party, replace shoes and back packs that the dog ate, and get the last few cards for my Merfolk deck!

Its nice to get bonuses in the mail as an adult.. Usually most mail items are bills..
