I have a sliver EDH deck. Let me tell you from experience. People WILL hate you. People WILL not play with you.

Haha

But by all means, go for it. I think they're fun to play with, but no fun to play against.

That is EXACTLY what I thought! Lmao! People still hate the sliver! I do to but I dont know an easier way to build a deck with those little alien looking poos! Hahah

Ertai

Someone mentioned it, but I would defiantly do Omnath. He's extremely easy to use and very fun to play.

Or even Kemba. All you have to do is get some good equipment cards and good game.

Those are great mono colored commanders.

And both are equally very fun to play!

Ertai

Check out the commander section. I posted a list for a Kemba deck. Very easy. Semi decent priced but extremely fun!

Thanks but have to do this. I sure it's inappropritae on this forum but i truly feel it's a must. Please go to http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=30258.msg278849 and look at the Karn art link. Wow! It is probably the most beautiful art i've seen. Karn with Glissa by his side. It is sick!

I firmly believe that if a card is legal in EDH, nobody should be able to frown upon you for using it! If you want to play slivers, go for it. It won't be that hard to build it, but I have one recomendation: have {Sliver Overlord} as your general. Tutoring for colorless mana at instant speed? Yes please, sign me up. There is a sliver for pretty much every circumstance, so being able to tutor up the one (or ones!) you need will be very useful.

Coffee Vampire

I did, it's pretty sick dude! Karn just looks so BA up there on his throne. I love how Geth is there too.

Right?! I want this on a playmat. Or hanging on my wall or something! It is a must have. I've never seen it before and one of the best Magic artwork I've seen.

Slivers are fast and aggressive, they can be potent against slower decks. I have seen slivers do very poorly against control decks however.

Yeah, they have trouble with contol. Lose that one sliver and it affects the entire hive.

Dhoulmagus

If you have an enchantment or a sliver that would make all your slivers hexproof, now there's something to think about.

I forget which sliver it is but one gives shroud. That's the closest i've came to finding it.

Dhoulmagus

Shroud is perfect because you don't need to cast anything on your slivers.

{Crystalline Sliver}

Still gotta beat the board wipes though...

Dhoulmagus

Yep, you can't really get around that unless you have counter spells.

Old slivers grant their abilities to ALL slivers,no matter who controls them...

I like that better anyway. It sticks with the whole subtype of a sliver. As long as one sliver is around then all slivers should get the ability no matter what side of the battlefield they are on.
