If I were to use a {Mindslaver} could I tap an opponents creatures without attacking even if they don't have abilities that cause them to tap?

Unfortunately I don't believe that you can bc it's illegal to just tap a vanilla creature w/o a spell. BUT YOU CAN tap all of there lands and waste their spells.

Yeah I was thinking more like making it so they can't block but alright thanks

Depending on their deck you could make their creatures {pit fight} each other.

I imagine they tapped out and cast a huge bonfire on themself.

That's what happened. I got mind slaved, opponent ended turn. He's like untap yourself, draw and reveal... Bonfire. He's like ok, miracle bonfire, use all your land and mana dorks for it... What's that? 15? Ok, bonfire yourself for 15!!!  End your turn...
