I am going to watch Lone Ranger with Nicki and after she goes to sleep I will be up for a few hours since I dont have to get up early. So to make a game of this time I purpose a challenge. Give me criteria (color, symbolism, species, power level, etc.) for an original planeswalker and I will make the best design I can in terms of theme, balance, and creativity. So hit me with your best shot.

How do you create the mana symbols? And also I'll try and think of a new walker. I really want to pitch a good idea.

Click on the comment by Millionlittlee and click the Quote button. Once the text input screen opens, have a look at the 'HTML' type stuff he used to create them. Then replicate. 😁

A green and black ooze
Ravnica comes to mind. A necrotic being origionally created/ adapted by the simic.

Lavorse the Dredge Walker {1}{G}{B}
Loyalty 2
+1: Prevent all damage dealt to dealt to <name> during target player's next turn.
0: When <name> is put into a graveyard during target player's next turn you may return up to one card from your graveyard to your hand.
-3: Destroy target creature, it can't be regenerated.

Ooze's traditionally are very weak relying more on unsual effects than raw power. Planeswalkers must be sentient beings. I married these two ideas to create an unusual walker that plays like a sorcery speed {putrefy}. It's first two abilities can be used to target yourself for interesting set ups especially with the new legend/walker rules. I had to make either the cost 4cmc or minus ability higher than can be chained since he can protect himself better than any walker before and has reusuable removal.

Angels and Demons.
Kaalia(esque)? I like the challenge. Since red is included I have to include dragons in the design to justify any tribal synergies of the other colors.

Lusefair, Scion of the Vast {3}{W}{B}{R}
Loyalty 3
+3: Exile the top 5 cards of your library. Choose one of those cards, you gain life equal to it's converted mana cost.
-3: Put target black, red, or white creature converted mana cost 5 or greater from exile onto the battlefield.
-10: Creatures you control gain haste, lifelink, and vigilance until end of turn. Then each creature you control deals damage to target creature or player equal to it's power.

I shied away from direct tribal to allow more creative ideas. I templated this one after {Karn Liberated} but much less powerful on the upswing but arguably way more powerful on the down swing. I did not want to limit his recast ability to cards exiled by him because s&@% happens and that would suck to loose 5 cards for some life.

{B}/{U} Ghost/Spirit
Dimir color walkers are tricky because their abilities have been tied to so many existing walkers.

Ovideon Æthermind. {2}{U}{B}
Loyalty 6
0: Exile <name>. Return <name> to the battlefield at the beginning of your next upkeep.
-1: Target creature can not be blocked until your next turn.
-3: Target player sacrifices a creature. That player then puts a 2/2 blue spirit token with flying onto the battlefield.

The most predominate spirits and ghost reside in kamigawa and ravinca to my knowledge so I decided on ravnica for simplicity sake since I did not play during the time of the kami. I wanted to play with an odd concept similar to {ætherling} but found it hard to incorporate black into a flowing design. I settled for an edict effect with a possible upshot. The reusability meant the abilities must be costly to open him up to removal. His last ability does not require that a creature be sacrificed to get a spirit.

Good stuff
I will actually share a modified version of an old creation of mine here. 5 colors seemed to coincide best with cascade the first time I approached it so I will redesign a walker on the same idea.

Zera, Child of the Conflux {U}{G}{W}{R}{B}
Loyalty 5
+5: If you do not control another white permanent, remove a loyalty counter from <name>. Do the same for blue, black, red, and green.
-3: The next spell you cast this turn has cascade.
-12: Gain life equal to twice your devotion to white. Draw cards equal to your devotion to blue. Each opponent loses life equal to twice your devotion to black. Deal damage to equal to your devotion to red to target creature or player. Put two X/X elemental creature tokens onto the battlefield where X is your devotion to green.

Devotion added a new way to word the final ability. It can be done in many different ways but no matter what it is a wordy ability.

{G}{W} Dryad.
I think this has to be another ravnica in origin walker because I cant think of another play dryads are prevalent.

Lost Leaf Luchina {G}{W}
Loyalty 1
+2: Untap target land.
-2: You may play an additional land this turn.
-7: You get an emblem that says: "Sacrifice a land: add 3 of any one color of mana to your mana pool."

Well it's not {tibalt, the fiend blooded}. This would be OP in a low creature high removal set. However in a creature heavy format like we have now this would be acceptable because good board control and direct walker removal can control the incremental advantage from a walker like this.

That was fun. I look forward to more tomorrow if you have them. As of this post I have completed a walker for each challenge presented. Please feel free to critique. I have studied a lot on design and can explain all of my descisions when making these. Keep in mind the meta makes the power level not just the text on a card.
