Mine was a {B} {U} control deck back in revised era.  Original {counter spell}, {force of will}, {royal assasian}, {demonic tutor} and {icy manipulator}.  The finisher was {leviathan} I believe....

Orzhov intro deck in Gatecrash
It was terrible at first but after an OH SO lucky trade for a {Damnation} It has tons of creature removal and most of all I have a great time playing it!
I've been hoping to work it into a Commander deck eventually. But yeah that's where I started!

My first deck was a Bant Splicer Golem deck. I remember thinking that {Blade Splicer} was, at the time, "oh my god, this the most powerful, crazy cool card I've EVER SEEN!"
