{Pack Rat} {Nighthowler} and {Dying Wish}... Big beasties that go boom when they die? Discard to put rats out and also pump the nighthowler bestow!

With {Gray Merchant of Asphodel} for plan B.

I found dying wish to be kind of an inefficient way to be offensive unless saved as a finisher. The effect means you're down a creature that presumably was strong if your plan works. It's kind of a defensive thing unless you plan on bringing the creature back at relatively low cost. Like on a creature that was already going to have  {Gift of Immortality} on it.

I like the pack rat + nighthowler thing though

That's kind of what I was thinking, it's insurance against having the bigger creatures taken out, i suppose it's not part of the core combo, but I'd want to see a rat with a bestowed howler and the wish on it, it's already going to be a high priority target for removal, but you still get some benefit when it dies. :)

Unless you get {Voyage's End}'d :/

But yeah insurance is a good word for it. I think wish is best suited for rakdos with things like  {Barrage of Expendables},  {Tymaret, the Murder King}, and  {Hellhole Flailer} where your creatures dying is already part of the business
