So instead of cracking packs I was going to just buy an intro deck for Theros. But am unsure which one to buy. Definitely want a {B} deck. But am unsure between {B}{U} and {B}{W}
So thought I'd ask you guys which one you would rather buy. And why (terms of value and playability)

No ideas on this expansion. But I know someone who had fun with the orzoh intro deck. But remember these intro decks are not that competivite you will have to tweek it a lot if playing against decks loaded with the good stuff. Might want to spend the extra 10 on the event decks. I have had fun with the boros and Selena event decks.

The black-blue deck looks like the better investment. The white-black deck only works as a cohesive unit, while the black-blue can be salvaged for parts. Black-blue has the gray apostle, whip, and etc. But with all this being said, it'd make more sense to buy individual cards or booster packs... Unless you're trying to introduce someone to magic, of course.

If you have a pillow fort deck, go for the {W}{B} one. Otherwise, go for the {U}{B} one

Not sure what you mean there birdbrain. But anyways I have the old orzhov deck (modified of course for myself) but I just wanted a deck to start myself out with to get a feel for some Theros cards without spending a ton of money on say a fatpack or anything.

pillow fort uses {ethereal armor} and {sphere of safety}. Basically with the one drop lifelinker you can have a 7/7 with lifelink on turn 2 if you get the right hand. (You only need three cards)

That was my idea when I first saw theros get a {Celestial Ancient} plus maybe 2 {Phalanx Leader} and maybe a {Fabled Hero}
{Ordeal of Heliod} for life gain
{pacifism} to stop opponent creatures
{Ethereal armor}
And then {Sphere of Safety}
{Fencing Ace} was also a cheap very plausible option as well.
I was also thinking add 2 of  the green white enchantment that has "other permanents you control are indestructible"
This is my mono-white deck idea.

well. If you want to build that deck, the enchantment creatures in the {W}{B} deck might help, sense the +1/+1 thing would trigger even if you cast those creatures as creatures. If your going to put it off though, I suggest the other one

I might just buy the {G}{W} deck for a phalanx leader and a Ordeal of Heliod.
Also the green white card I meant was
{Privileged Position} add 2 and an {imperial Mask} everything you control becomes untargetable.

well, I'm sure you'll figure out which to buy

Indeed. Thanks everyone for the input!

I personally think the {U} one is the best. Because {U}

The {G}{W} deck is better than I expected.
