You have to look at the market share they want. Play station and Xbox are for people in high school and up. Nintendo target market is for the grammar school kids. Nintendo started kidding down their devices in the n64 days.

Argus, Nintendo isn't a system meant to run those types of games.  Controls are weak, because they didn't want people to really think they were going to be that type of console.

I think just moving to deving would be good because in a few years there going to end up like sega and possibly stay in the handheld market but that's it

Although to be fair to Nintendo, they're facing Sony and Microsoft. They're a little outclassed when it comes to resources.

Lol please, Microsoft and Sony will never be able to make games like Nintendo does

Imink

Nintendo is going after more casual gamer you can see that with the wii consoles but they should still make things that don't suck I love Nintendo but there performance is not satisfactory

I grew up on Nintendo
SNES->N64->XBOX->Wii->XBOX 360
That's pretty much the consoles I played as I got older, 2/5 Microsoft and 3/5 Nintendo
Microsoft always tried to deliver great graphics, sound, game quality, controls, and gameplay. On the other hand, Nintendo focuses much more on general gameplay experience than game quality. Old Nintendo > New Nintendo
Obviously, they live off their classics, and that's what they need to stick to. New consoles aren't nintendo's forte, they should just stick with nostalgic platformer or fighting or racing games, because that's what they do best. If I want to play CoD or BF ill use my Xbox.

Could you imagine if they re-released a N64 and the games for like 3 months?

The hardware isn't what wins me over. It's the gameplay, artistry, and storytelling.  The library of classics and the modern takes on those same games is what has kept me with Nintendo. To be honest I've enjoyed my 360 but it was an afterthought to my Wii and its library of retro titles.  Sony & Microsoft, as solid as they are, will never win my consumer loyalty in the same way because they didn't define the games I played when I was 7 years old. Furthermore no one, barring bathesda, has made a game that pulled me in like the classic NES and SNES games of yore (Zelda, Mario 3,  FF6, etc)

I normally use my computer and Xbox, but I I wish one thing for Nintendo...make more super smash bros!!

Dudecore

Sony moving toward small developers and independents seems pretty cool to me. Nintendo has nothing that interests me, but im also no a kid anymore. I'm sure children still enjoy Nintendo games.

I was referring to the 2ds with "what the heck is that"
I don't like it.  I like how it is backwards combatable, but still.

I'm looking for my non-handheld console by them to do that.  Something that scans the disc, or cartridge what have you, so I can play Every Super Smash Bros on one system.

They should remake the old games (Icarus, DK, Mario, ETC), with the same storylines and everything, EXCEPT with new, fancy graphics.

Imink

They already do that with the Mario games
