Actually, while playing unglued/unhinged game rules, you can pick any color on the infinite color wheel for mana, (just only use for it is colorless)

Magic just got worse for me

The rules:

105.1.: There are five colors in the _Magic_ game: white, blue, black, red, and green.

105.4.: If a player is asked to choose a color, he or she must choose one of the five colors. "Multicolored" is not a color. Neither is "colorless."

That is true however unglued/unhinged break many of the normal rules for magic.
