They do not go that fast, I've read about it and they can reach a couple thousand mph but not 23,000. Unless you meant 2,300? That's a better approximation.

Michael J. Fox was not the original actor to be cast as Marty McFly. Eric Stoltz was, and there's scenes floating around of early filming with him as McFly with a more serious attitude than the Marty McFly we've all come to love. I can't imagine the Back to the Future franchise without Michael J. Fox.
