That's if the {Doomed Traveler} dies, because {mimic vat} exiles the token at the end of turn

Add {sundial of the infinite} and you're good :D

Coffee Vampire

Sundial skips your end step, and since that is when you exile the tokens, you keep them until your next end step. If you don't want them to be exiled, you will have to keep tapping the sundial every turn.

Sagemaster

Oh then use doomed as a chump blocker and keep the spirit :D

You wait for the trigger to go on the stack at the end step.  Then end the turn. The trigger will only happen once.

Coffee Vampire

It says "until the next end step" though...doesn't that mean that even if you skip your end step, you will still have to exile it on the next one?

The ability sets up a delayed trigger that waits until the end of turn. However, if you let the trigger get put on the stack, THEN end the turn, it will be removed and never come back.
