Control help

Can anyone help me make my first control deck been playing for about half a year I played aggro and midrange now I want to play a control deck

First thing to do is pick a control theme

Bant (UWG)
Esper (BUW)
BUG
American (RWB)
RUG
Grixis (BRU)

Once you decide which to run, make sure that you have the lands for each. All four shock and check lands are a must in any control deck.

Right now, Bant and Esper are running rampant and American is around as well.

In addition to this, there are cards that you will want that will depend upon which of the colors you choose. Pick a set.  Let us know which one. We will be able to help further!!
