Well its just clever flavour and non OP card mechanics due to the concept of when this guy appears by your side on the battle field, he turns the tidal wave he arrived on into an entourage of angry little 2/1s, of which can be enchanted just like any other creature to become bigger and angrier.He hangs back and let's his water sprites do the dirty work but the moment he dies, the magic keeping his sprites alive die with him (unless enchanted by someone's magic).

In my opinion, he's a stroke of flavour genius. He may seem meh with all those permanent token gens out there, but in terms of flavour and not being OP, this guy deserves mythic in my opinion.

My ping deck is straight forward. Blue for counterspells and things like {electrolyze} and {gelectrode}. Red for the rest of the pingers and burn dmg. I wouldn't need a blue pinger. I don't even use prodigal and staticaster bc they are unneeded. The blue pinger is exactly the same as prodigal pyromancer and neither make the cut. Cunning makes the cut bc of haste.

I digress. Back on topic shall we?

How come nobody has pointed out that {Night Howler} is OP, us a Green/Black with {Commune the Gods} and some other stuff from RTR to get things in the library. Also this is like the first realistic Bestow cost. Plus it works great with the Bow, giving everything Deathtouch.
How do people feel about the Pandemonium? Seems it would work well for a Garruk Big Creature deck and really suck for a control deck (because Snappy is gone!). I might sideboard it.
