I hope they bring back fading.
it would be cool if they combined fading with suspend. Whenever something totally faded, it would be suspended, and then come back in when it was done fading. Sort of like phasing, only more flavorful

I got an idea what the dual lands might be like. What if they entered tapped unless you reveal a card of one color or the other from your hand?

That would be sweet but so OP!

Quackmaster5

I like the tribal lands from Lorwyn block better. And since we are speculating that Theros would be tribal, they make more sense.

Ie  {Murmuring Bosk},  {Secluded Glen}, etc.

though, having you reveal a card of one of the two colors is more powerful than tribal lands. Plus, were just rotating from a tribal block

Ya it's OP. which is why they won't do it. And I wouldn't consider innistrad a very "tribal" block. It had tribal aspects but when I think tribal, I think Lorwyn or Scourge. Both those blocks were nothing but tribal. Innistrad went halvies on the tribal, which is why werewolves and vampires weren't that great.

I'm just going off what people are saying. The lands could be tribal based like i said.

Hopefully they reprint the alpha dual lands lol jk

What I want to see are depicitations of Greek and Roman Gods in Theros.

Example:

Ares,God of Combat {4}{R}{R}{R}

Whenever a source would deal damage to a player,it deals twice that damage instead.

Whenever a creature attacks you or a planeswalker you control,destroy that creature.Ares,God of Combat deals damage equal to that creatures toughness.

4/5

IntoFire

Or:

Posiedon,Master of the Seas. {5}{U}{U}

Hexproof,Islandwalk.

Creatures you control have Islandwalk

All lands are Islands in addition to their other types.

Creatures without Flying or Islandwalk cant attack.

4/3

Functional reprints TOTALLY don't exist...

Well that would suck. With your wording YOU would take double damage as well.

I know a card that would not only be a perfect reprint for theros, but would be an excellent choice for control and would slow the meta down significantly, causing players to focus more on bigger creatures than an abundance of creatures, and would help the bigger cards in the ravnica block breathe and see some play...

{soul barrier}. I hope they reprint this in the theros block!
