Controling target player

My brother says there's a card that lets u control target player for the rest of the game but all I know is there's a planeswalker and an artifact that does it but only for one turn

There are ways, typically using {Mindslaver}.  But there are only two individual cards that let you control a player. The slaver, and {Sorin Markov}.
