Aggro vs. Esper Control

How to beat it?
I play Gruul Aggro and have a tough time vs. it. Any suggestions would be great

Win before they can verdict -.-

My lgs does standard on Thursday and if I come up against control I'm gonna board in {Ruric Thar, the Unbowed} I know it's late game but it might provide the final bit of damage you need or force tougher decisions on counters and eat up mana on their turn if it manages to get on the board.

Ill update and let you know how it tests tomorrow

{Strangleroot Geist} and {Yeva, Nature's Herald}

I play 4 {Strangleroot Geist}s but why the {Yeva, Nature's Herald}? I have a low curve and want to attack every turn so doesn't that make it kinda slow yes giving my green spells flash is great but idk

If she is casted the after a {Supreme verdict} on the same turn they casted it they really cant answer her she is a decently sized body who if played correctly has haste and dodges {Supreme verdict}

Well my win con is blood rushing {Wild Beastmaster} so if I have a good draw I get lethal on turn 3 lol but ya {Azorius Charm} is a b**** lol
I don't see how {Elixir of Immortality} helps when I said Esper Control I should have specified that it was a milling deck sorry.

Both are great cards but I'm trying to get my deck to be as fast as possible like I want to win before they verdict on turn 4 (which I've done before) so those cards are great just not for me

Played in standard tonight with a gruul aggro, differen set up than yours and didnt play any control decks, closest thing was a bant prime speaker, so I didn't have a need to side board ruric in, gonna go to another lgs standard tomorrow with same stuff. Good luck on beating control

My FNM was modern tonight so I did draft but I played against a very good (very overused) Jund midrange deck. Which was perfect bc well that's my weakness. But, I won game 1 on Turn 4. Right after he played {Olivia Voldaren} I used {Pit Fight} to fight a 6/6 {Burning-Tree Emissary} (pumped by {Wild Beastmaster}) then swung for 15 on turn 3. Which was good lol then turn 4 he killed my Beastmaster but too little too late bc next turn I swung for 7 and killed him but then he got me in game 2 and I won in game 3 on turn 6 so it was close but I won!
