Anyone attempted the 3D alterations?

I ripped apart some islands and tried it... Turned out awful but i realized that the hardest part is detail cutting and edging. If you can get that down it's really fun.

I did this once and it worked out pretty well but you need to be perfect in order to do it nicely and you also need 3-4-5 copies of the card.
