All of the magus are creature version of extremely over powered cards in magic bit yet are extremely cheap are the creatures really that much worse than their non creature forms?

Because they are mostly easier to get rid of than their non-creature forms.

Not to mention the whole "instants and Sorceries don't have summoning sickness" thing.
