That's a whole lot of mana for not a lot of action. Maybe break the budget by $5-$10 and throw in a {Blightsteel Colossus} or two?

Edit: Blightsteel is a bit more expensive than I thought, actually

I think the problem is you'd get flooded with a lot of 1/1 creatures that will just end up as chump blockers until you can {Phytoburst} the trample elf enough and pray for no removal
