Only if it is declared as paying 0, even so will only destroy tokens w/ converted casting cost of 0.  Tokens that are copies of another object copy their printed cost as well.

You still have to declare the ability as used, but you can use it for 0 mana.

Edit: this will also kill flip cards if they're flipped iirc.

This is incorrect, a token always has a converted mana cost of {0} unless specifically stated otherwise.
